Stand a chance to WIN your share of R560 000 in Cash &+Play

WIN up to R112 000 in our weekly CASH and +Play Draws.

Two finalists will be drawn at 7 and 8 pm and 3 finalists will be drawn at 9pm.

All 7 finalists will be given a chance to choose a box, according to the order they were drawn, from the 7 boxes in a ball pit on the stage (all boxes contain a guaranteed prize). The main prize is valued at R50 000.

Selected patrons will WIN the prize in the box they have selected. Prizes will be CASH and or +Play

 

When can I activate my tickets and when are the draws?

Ticket activation takes place at the e-host and opens at 9am until 8:55pm on the biweekly  draw days  as stipulated

Weekly Draw Dates & Times

Weekly prize draws take place every second Saturday – 1, 15 Feb, 1, 15 ,29 March

Weekly prize draws take place at 7pm, 8pm and 9pm – 7 Finalist will be selected per draw night

These are attendance draws ALL patrons are required to be present on draw days

A minimum of 50 slots points earned during the points earning period equals 1 draw ticket.

Ticket earning closes on the Thursday evening (gaming day) prior to the draw day.

Draw entries will be activated at the ehost on the draw day from 9am – 8:55pm.

Draw tickets are uncapped.

 

Earning Period & Draw Dates

R560 000 In It To Win It

  1. Tickets are activated via EHost from 09h00 until 20h55 on the day of the promotion/draw.
  2. Draws will take place on the promotional stage at 7pm, 8pm & 9pm.
  3. Draws will be electronic. Tickets will be uncapped.
  4. Prizes will be Cash and/ or +Play
  5. Contestants will be given 90 seconds to present themselves on stage with any form of identification to verify the ticket such as (ID book/Driver’s licence and the Tsogo Rewards card)
  6. Participants will be given a chance to choose from the 7 boxes in a ball pit on the stage.
  7. Patrons can only win once in a draw evening.
  8. Any person who is under 18, or who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into any category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from gambling and/or participating in this promotional competition.
  9. This promotional competition is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
  10. This promotional competition is exclusive to all Rewards Programme cardholders (“Participants”), subject to their respective active membership(s) at Hemingway’s Casino.
  11. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration. The draw is an attendance draw and all Participants are required to be present on the draw days to be eligible to win a prize: Provided that a participant elects not to be present in person when the winners are announced/ drawn, the participant must nominate another person who has been duly authorized in writing to attend the draw on behalf of the participant in the form and manner determined by management. Nomination forms will be available at the Customer Services Desk from the opening and closing times for ticket activations.
  12. Participants or duly authorized representatives, shall be required to present themselves within 90 seconds from the time of the finalist’s announcement. They must produce the valid ticket entry/ entries together with a positive and acceptable form of identification e.g. a South African I.D./South African Driver’s License/Passport or other official form of identification as approved by the casino, a Hemingways Casino Rewards card of the individual that they are representing and any other details as required. In the event that a participant does not present themselves on the draw stage in the prescribed 90 seconds, they will, by default, lose the opportunity to become a finalist in the draw. A re-draw will be conducted for a new finalist.
  13. Authorized representatives of Participants shall not be entitled to any prizes and shall not take receipt of prizes accruing to the Participants they are representing.
  14. Prizes are to be collected and signed for receipt thereof by the relevant Prize Winner (not representative), as the case may be, within 15 days from the date of the draw from the casino where the prize(s) were won.
  15. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other item(s) unless otherwise advertised. Prize winners must sign for the receipt of prizes
  16. The casino shall take all reasonable steps to contact a prize winner, who had elected not to be present at the draw and duly elected a representative, via the contact details provided in the proxy form or otherwise readily available.  In such circumstances, the prize winner may claim the prize within 15 days of the draw. It remains the prize winner’s responsibility to provide accurate contact information and to claim their prize in the prescribe time.
  17. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
  18. Surveillance Specialist, or duly authorised Surveillance Person, Security & Marketing personnel will audit the draws.
  19. Proxy forms will be available at the Customer Service Desk & VIP helpdesk from 9am until 20h55 on the draw day and Participants may select a proxy to represent them in the draw
  20. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
  21. Copies of these rules are available at the Customer Service Desk upon request and on co.za
  22. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of the Casino Management.
  23. All decisions are final and binding, no correspondence or appeals will be entered into; any complaints arising at the event will be investigated and forwarded to the ECGB for investigation and final decision.
