TOURNAMENT RULES

1. Only persons over the age of 18 may participate. Any person, or a nominee of a person who is currently refused entry to the casino or who is self-excluded prior to or during the tournament may not participate and will be disqualified.
2. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.

QUALIFYING

1. Saturday’s 3^rd, 10^th, 17^th and 24^th September 2022 from 16h00 to 20h00.
2. Bring your entry ticket earned to the Tournament Table AR04 on the above Saturdays to enter a heat.
3. Participants may enter heats as many times as they have earned tickets but only play once per heat.
4. A maximum of 5 players at a time will constitute a heat, with a minimum of 1 player.
5. Each player will receive 3 x stacks of colour chips, each chip will represent R10.
6. R10 table limits apply to all heats.
7. R200 max on the number, R200 minimum on outside chances in multiples of R100, R4 000 maximum on even money chances and R2000 on columns and dozens.
8. Players must play every spin.
9. No call bets will be accepted.
10. Players will be given 3 spins of 60 seconds each, the 60 seconds will start after the players have received their chips, and the next 60 seconds will start after the last pay-out has been made. Should the player announce that they are done placing bets before the 60 seconds is over, the dealer must confirm by announcing and then proceed with the game.
11. At the end of the 3 spins the chips will be totaled and entries will be made onto the leader board if achieved.
12. An automatic leader board will be displayed reflecting the top 21 players, 1^st player is a automatic qualifier.
13. Players in positions 2 to 21 will enter into a play off in the SEMI-FINALS at 7pm On Friday 30^th September 2022.
14. Values won at qualifying heats will not be carried forward.
15. All scores will be recorded as a Rand based value.
16. Values won at qualifying heats will not be carried forward.

SEMI-FINALS:

1. Date: Friday 30^th September 2022 at 7pm on the Casino Floor AR04
2. Semi-Finalists will meet in the Prive Lounge at 6pm on the 30 September 2022, for pre-tournament snacks and drinks and to select their seats – The 20 SEMI-FINALISTS will draw playing and heat positions and will play to a maximum of 4 players per table.
3. R10 limits will apply.
4. 3 stacks of colour at R10.
5. Each player will be given a maximum of 60 seconds to place their bets per spin.
6. No counts will be given.
7. A rotating marker will be used to control the betting order.
8. The Top 4 highest scored players from the Semi-Finals will go through to the Finals.
9. Values won will not be carried over to the Finals.
10. e recorded as a Rand based value.

FINALS:

1. Friday 30^th September 2022 after the semi-finals have been completed.
2. The top 4 highest scores from the  Semi Finals and the automatic qualifier from the leader board will qualify for a place in the  Final.
3. Seating positions will be arranged according to highest scores achieved to the lowest.
4. 5 stacks of colour at R10 or the equivalent thereof.
5. 5 spins.
6. Players must bet at each spin.
7. A rotating marker will be used to control the betting order.
8. Each player will be given a maximum of 60 seconds to place their bets per spin, if they indicate they are finished prior to this elapsed time their betting time will be considered finished and we will move to the next player.
9. A count will be made after spin 4 (four) ONLY.
10. The person with the highest score will take 1^st place followed by those in consecutive declining order.
11. Chips are to be kept on the Table at all times and players must play every spin.
12. Chip “winnings” from one competition session will not be carried over to another session.
13. Registration and participation at the finals shall be in accordance with dates and times that will be advertised through the casino’s marketing mediums.  Late entries shall not be accepted.
14. The Master of Ceremonies, at the finals, will announce the start of each tournament session. Participants who are not present at the actual start of the respective session will forfeit their seats. Designated and demarcated operational tables and/or tournament tables will be utilised for the tournament. Live games will not be offered at the affected operational tables during tournament sessions, however live games may resume at these tables when it is not being utilised for tournament purposes.
15. Tournament winnings won during each individual heat will be totaled and ranked to determine the top chip earners.
16. Participants do not earn Rewards Programme points during tournament play.
17. Participants’ chips are to be maintained in a visible manner on the table concerned at all times during each session. Participants must bet during every spin. Bets are to be placed during the allocated time for each spin. The Master of Ceremonies will announce the allocated times, which may differ during the various stages of the tournament.
18. In the event of a tie for scores within the qualifying range, a spin-off will occur i.e. a Dealer will spin the roulette ball in the wheel for the affected participants in alphabetical order of their surnames. The participant with the higher number will gain the higher position and the participant with the lower number (zero being a low number) will gain the very next position. The ranking order will be adjusted accordingly.
19. Should participants be eligible for more than one seat in Semi or Finals, they may elect representatives, who may not be co-participants in the semi or Finals, to participate in respect of the additional seats. The nominated representatives will be required to play without any coercion and/or input/strategy from the nominating participants concerned.  However, should the participant for any reason whatsoever not be available for, or not present at a start of a session, such participant and nominated representatives where relevant shall forfeit their seats without any refunds of their entry fees.
20. Should a “NO SPIN” be declared by the Tournament Director whilst a rotational marker is being used (Semi and finals), bets will not be changed and the ball will be re-spun.  In the event there is a ‘NO SPIN’ during earlier qualifying rounds then bets may be changed.
21. Bets may not be adjusted once a participant’s time has lapsed, or they have indicated they have finished betting ,when the rotational marker that is being utilised for betting sequence has moved on to the next participant.
22. Chips cannot be pooled with, or transferred to other participants’ chips.  All chips must be returned to the respective table float at the end of each competition session.
23. Whilst every reasonable effort will be taken to ensure the accurate recording of rankings/scores, the onus shall remain with participants to ensure that their rankings/scores are correct at all times. The casino reserves the right to make the necessary corrections as soon as it becomes aware of any founded discrepancies, which corrections could change the rankings/scores of participants and allocation of prizes.
24. Tournament Director’s decision (or a Management Representative thereof) will be deemed as final and no correspondence will be entered into.
25. Any complaints arising at the event will be investigated and forwarded to the ECGB for investigation and final decision.
26. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified.
