The March entertainment line-up at Hemingways Casino starts on a high note with a concert by one of South Africa’s fastest-rising, uber-talented stars, L’loyd Cele. He takes to the stage at the Venue@Hemingways at 8pm on Saturday the 1st.
The singer, who burst onto the local entertainment scene when he was the runner up in the 2010 SA Idols competition, is one of many top caliber entertainers billed to perform at the casino in 2014. Fans can look forward to hearing some of the songs that have made L’loyd famous such as ‘Thanks To You’ and ‘Make It Easy’, which was nominated at SAMA 2012 for song of the year and led to the dance inspired hit ‘My Air’, one of the biggest local hits in the summer of 2011.
Currently promoting his second album, L’loyd will also treat his fans to some of his latest material, such as ‘Hero’, which carries a strong message, and other more light hearted tracks and love songs like ‘Feel The Love’, ‘Cinderella’ and ‘She’s On Fire’.
“What a coup to have L’loyd performing on our stage for the first time this March. He has taken the country by storm with his refined and instantly-recognisable sound, winning multiple awards and performing at some of the country’s top music festivals.
